diy couples costumes

Halloween in one of my favorite holidays. I have fond memories of my mom making my costumes, even the obscure requests like a fall leaf. (Don't ask.) Now that I have kids of my own, it's taken on a whole new level of fun, especially working together to create our costumes. Last year, Olive (almost 3 at the time) decided on Frozen for the whole family and assigned characters accordingly. We had a blast shopping at thrift and craft stores getting all of the pieces to design our costumes. I love how they turned out, and Ruby really got into character.diy halloween - two little birds planningdiy halloween - two little birds planningThis year the girls decided on Paw Patrol, but Dan and I didn't want to dress as our kids' favorite cartoon characters for the adult Halloween party we're attending. So while searching online for couples costume, I came across a really fun series of blog posts on Say Yes. If you're still looking for the perfect (and easy) DIY costume, check out my favorites for some inspiration.couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planning couples costumes - two little birds planningimages via jaclyn's iphone and say yes
